Fuel Up To Play 60
For this week’s GetGIVIN I took a trip down to NYC to work alongside Fuel Up to Play 60 for National School Breakfast Week. Fuel Up to Play 60 is a program founded by the National Dairy Council and NFL, in collaboration with USDA, that empowers students to take charge in making small, everyday changes at school.
For National Breakfast Week, FUTP60 works directly with schools around the country to spread awareness on how school breakfast can help fuel greatness for students every single day.
“Good nutrition and physical activity are key to helping kids fuel greatness, and the first step is starting the day with a healthy breakfast at school! Whether they’re the next teen pop sensation, renowned physician, or star athlete, all kids need the chance to succeed.” -Fuel Up to PLay 60
We all have dreams and the first step in making them a reality is to start each day off right by fueling up with a nice, healthy breakfast. Treat your body right and reap the rewards. When you take the time to eat breakfast you put yourself in the go position, both physically and mentally, to crush the day ahead.
For today’s event we got to hang out with the amazing staff and students of PS 84 Lillian Weber School of Arts. The event was a blast and everyone was super kind and welcoming, I felt right at home. I can’t wait to work alongside Fuel Up to Play 60 again in the future. Fuel up, chase your dreams, give back and most importantly, GetLIVIN!
